Plant in a sunny or partly sunny spot with well-draining soil.
Space plants 6'-12" apart.
Dig hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant, and press the soil down gently.
Water the area thoroughly.
Regularily deadhead to keep plants blooming through the cool seasons. Cut off faded flower spikes just above a leaf node to promote new blooms and extend the flowering season.
